Summer Art Camp 2026
Enroll your camper in ZAM’s 25th annual Summer Art Camp: a fun, educational, art experience held in the heart of Downtown Bangor. Each session is led by a professional Museum Educator.
Sessions are held in ZAM’s classroom and galleries. Campers will have the opportunity to view and talk about art and participate in a wide array of hands-on art activities.
Projects will include printmaking, drawing, painting, working with textiles, sculpture, and other crafts. We will enjoy time outdoors for snacks and games. Each week is packed with activities and families are invited to join us for an exhibition of artwork at 11:45 on the Friday of their session.
We will meet everyday from 8:30 to 12:00pm and create fabulous, fun art work that relates to the current exhibitions.
This is a small camp led by the Museum Educator and assisted by a selected UMaine Art Education Intern. We are able to tailor this experience to each group and create amazing artwork because the group is small. Space is limited. After care is not available and pick up from camp is promptly at 12:00pm. Please do not send your child to camp if they are not feeling well.
