The Bangor Art Society is turning 150 years old!

Founded in 1875 during the flourishing era of the Gilded Age, The Bangor Art Society has long been a cornerstone of the city’s vibrant creative community, fostering artistic expression, education, and cultural enrichment for generations.

The GALA not only commemorates the society’s storied history, but also celebrates the cultural and artistic contributions that have shaped the region over the past century-and-a-half.

Period or artistic attire is encouraged (but not required) for this event, and guests will have the opportunity to pose in front of beautiful themed backdrops for individual or group photos.
