DESCRIPTION:Explore storytelling through the mechanics of constructing a comic with instructor Carmine Leighton \nTWO SATURDAY SESSIONS:\nMARCH 2 & 9\, 2019\n11 AM – 3 PM\nat the University of Maine Museum of Art \n$35 Museum of Art Members\n$45 Non-members \nThere is no right or certain way to create a comic\, and this is your story to tell how you choose. Over the course of two workshops\, participants will create a 3-4 page story utilizing several techniques of traditional comic formatting. No experience necessary! \nCarmine Leighton is currently a therapist specializing in expressive art therapy at a clinic in Brewer\, and has used comics as her chosen form of expression for many years. \nAll materials are included in the registration fee\, and space is limited!
