Featured artist JoAnne Carson in conversation with ZAM Director George Kinghorn on Zoom

On December 10th, the Zillman Art Museum presents Creative Conversations on Zoom. Join us for a lively discussion between featured artist JoAnne Carson and ZAM Director and Curator George Kinghorn. Carson will discuss her creative practice and offer insights on her large-scale sculptures and works on paper on view in Wood Nymphs, her solo-exhibition at ZAM. There will also be time for participants to ask questions through Zoom’s webinar Q&A feature.

JoAnne Carson was born in New York City and currently splits her time between Brooklyn, New York and Shoreham, Vermont. Her work is represented in various public collections including the Brooklyn Museum, Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, Sheldon Museum of Art, among others. Carson is Distinguished Professor of Studio Art and Graduate Director, Art and Art History at the University of Albany.
