Course Description:
This fun workshop is designed for beginners who wish to develop skills in watercolor painting. All the materials for the class will be provided by the instructor.
Day One: Color and Technique | Day Two: Still Life and Landscape |
We will be exploring watercolor basics through lively color mixing and paint handling techniques. | We will further explore watercolor through setting up a simple still life or working from a photograph. |
Meet the Instructor:
Eva Wagner completed the foundation program at the Maine College of Art and has a BA in Studio Art and Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Maine. She has taught high school art, adult education and was an educator at the Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland. She currently serves as an educator and Education Coordinator at the University of Maine Museum of Art. Wagner strives to create a fun, supportive environment for her students.
